Risk Fields

The table below lists the fields of the Risk form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.

Field Label Utilization Guideline
Subject

The Subject field is used to enter a short description of the risk.

Manager

The Manager field is used to select the person who is responsible for eliminating the risk or minimizing its severity.

Status

The Status field is used to select the current status of the risk.

The available options are:

  • Anticipated – It is possible that the risk will have an impact in the future.
  • Materialized – The risk has already had an impact.
  • Closed – The risk has been closed for the reason selected in the Closure reason field. Details regarding the closure of the risk have been specified in the Notes field.
Mitigation target

The Mitigation target field is used to specify when the risk needs to have been mitigated.

Closure reason

The Closure reason field is used to select the appropriate closure reason for the risk when it is being closed.

Severity

The Severity field is used to select the severity of the risk.

Relations
Projects

The Projects table field is used to link specific projects that could become, or are already, impacted by the risk.

Services

The Services table field is used to link specific services that could become, or are already, impacted by the risk.

Organisations

The Organisations table field is used to link specific organisations that could become, or are already, impacted by the risk.

Notes
Notes

The Notes field lists all notes that have been added to the risk. For each note, this field shows the name of the person who submitted it and when this was done.

Note

The Note field is used to provide a detailed description of the risk and the actions that are planned or have already been taken to eliminate it, or to minimize its severity. This field is also used when the status is set to ‘Closed’ to explain why it was decided to close the risk.

This field allows basic text formatting.

Attachments

The Attach file... link is used to attach a file to a note. Multiple attachments can be added to a note.
