Product Category

Product categories are used to classify products, as well as the configuration items that are linked to these products. The product category of a product or configuration item dictates the fields that are available for registering the attributes and relations of the product or configuration item.

Only a person who has the Account Administrator role of an account can maintain the product categories of that account.
