OAuth Application Fields

The table below lists the fields of the OAuth Application form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.

Field Label Utilization Guideline
Name

The Name field is used to enter the name of the external application.

Disabled

The Disabled box is checked when the application is no longer allowed to interact with Xurrent.

Created

The Created field displays the date and time on which the application was registered.

Grant type

The Grant type field is used to specify whether the application needs to make use of the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Grant or the OAuth Client Credentials Grant.

Authorization Code Grant
Homepage URL

The Homepage URL field is used to enter the hyperlink that homepage of the application. This field is available only when the grant type ‘Authorization code grant’ is selected.

Description

The Description field is used to describe why the application is asking for a user’s permission to use their Xurrent access rights. This description is presented to users when their permission is requested by the application.

This field is available only when the grant type ‘Authorization code grant’ is selected. It allows basic text formatting.

Endpoints

The Endpoints field is used to enter one or more of the application’s endpoints. This field is available only when the grant type ‘Authorization code grant’ is selected.

Scopes
Effect

The Effect field is used to select whether the application is allowed or denied the ability to perform the actions defined in the Actions field.

Actions

The Actions field is used to define which actions the application is allowed or denied to perform and for which record types.

Conditions

The Conditions field is used to limit the scope further, for example, to records that are registered in a specific Xurrent account.

Tokens
ID

The ID field displays the unique identifier of the token.

Created

The Created field displays the date on which the token was created.

Last used

The Last Used field displays the date on which the token was last used.
