Email Template Fields
The table below lists the fields of the Email Template form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.

Name |
The Name field displays the name of the email template. |
Disabled |
The Disabled box is checked when the email notifications that are based on the email template may not be generated. |
Email design |
The Email design field is used to select the email design that is to be applied to any email notifications that are generated based on the email template. In Edit mode, this field is available only when two or more email designs are available. |
Default template |
The Default template box is checked when the email template should be used a s default when sending email from a record. This field is only available for templates of the actions:

Language |
The Language field is used to select the language of the text that is entered in the Subject and Body fields. Additional translations can be added for an email template by clicking on the Add button (the button with the plus sign). A translation can be removed by pressing the Remove button (the button with the minus sign). The default language is the language of the account. This translation cannot be removed. People with a language preference that is different from one of the translations of an email template receive the emails that are generated based on the email template in the language of the account. When a language is selected in which the Xurrent service has been translated, then the default text of the email template is automatically presented in that language. If a translation in the selected language is not available, the current English (United States) translation is presented in the Subject and Body fields to facilitate the translation. |
Subject |
The Subject field is used to specify the subject of email notifications that are generated based on the email template. Depending on the type of record for which the email is generated, different fields of this record (or related data) can be included in the Subject field. These fields can be selected by entering two left curly brackets. To reset the Subject field to its default value, empty it and save the email template. |
Body |
The Body field is used to specify the text that needs to be presented in the body of email notifications that are generated based on the email template. Depending on the type of record for which the email is generated, different fields of this record (or related data) can be included in the Body field. These fields can be selected by entering two left curly brackets. To reset the Body field to its default value, empty it and save the email template. |
