App Instance
After an app offering has been defined, it can be installed in its own account. If the app offering is published, it can also be installed in the trusted accounts of the account in which the app offering was defined. Each time an app offering is installed, a new app instance is created in the account of the app offering.
On installation, an app instance is created in the provider’s account. The automation rules, webhook and application token that the app needs are automatically generated in the customer’s account and the token for the customer’s app instance is supplied to the provider.
Every person who has the Account Administrator role can create new app instances by installing app offerings in the ‘Apps’ section of their account’s Settings console.
