Reservation Fields

The table below lists the fields of the Reservation form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.

Field Label	Utilization Guideline
Name	The `Name` field is automatically set to the subject of the request for which the reservation was generated.
Status	The `Status` field is used to specify whether a reservation that was requested using the reservation offering is immediately confirmed after it has been submitted, or that an action (such as an approval) is still required before it can be confirmed. The available options are: Provisional – The reservation has been provisionally requested. Pending – The reservation has been requested and is awaiting confirmation. Confirmed – The reservation is confirmed. Being Prepared – The configuration item is being prepared before the start of the reservation. Active – The reservation is currently in progress. Conflicting – One of the occurrences of the recurring reservation is in conflict with a previously confirmed reservation. Canceled – The reservation has been canceled. Ended – The reservation has already ended.
Request	The `Request` field is automatically set to the request that was used to make the reservation.
Reservation offering	The `Reservation offering` field is automatically set to the reservation offering that was related to the request template used to request the reservation.
Person	The `Person` field is automatically set to the person who is selected in the `Requested by` field of the request that was used to make the reservation.
Asset	The `Asset` field is automatically set to the configuration item for which the reservation was requested.
Start	The `Start` field is used to specify the moment at which the reservation begins.
End	The `End` field is used to specify the moment at which the reservation ends. This field is available only when the Multi-day box of the reservation offering is checked.
Duration	The `Duration` field is used to specify the length of time for which the configuration item has been reserved. This field is available only when the Multi-day box of the reservation offering is unchecked.
Repeats	The `Repeats` field is used to specify the recurrence frequency of this reservation.
