Custom Collection

A custom collection is created when a set of records needs to be maintained in 4me, but none of the standard record types fit this set of records. A example of a custom collection could be the cost centers of an organization. By defining the custom collection “Cost Centers”, it becomes possible to register all cost centers in 4me as custom collection elements. A custom view can then be defined for the custom collection, which in turn makes it possible to create UI extensions that include custom suggest fields in which users can select elements of the custom collection.

Only people who have the Directory Designer role, the Directory Administrator role, the Account Designer role or the Account Administrator role of an account can maintain the custom collections of that account.
