Account Trust Fields

The table below lists the fields of the Account Trust form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.

Roles from us

The Roles from us field is used to select the roles that may be assigned to people of the trusted account. Only an account administrator of the trusted account is able to assign the checked roles to people of the trusted account. Note that when a role is unchecked, this role will automatically be revoked from all people of the trusted account.

Roles for us

The Roles for us field lists the roles that have been made available by the trusted account to the account selected in the account switcher. These roles can be assigned to a person of the selected account. Only an account administrator of the selected account can assign these roles to people of the selected account.

 
Trusted account can assign workflow approval tasks to anyone of us

The Trusted account can assign workflow approval tasks to anyone of us box is checked to give the trusted account the ability to assign workflow tasks of the category ‘Approval’ to any person who is registered in the account selected in the account switcher or its directory account.

We can assign workflow approval tasks to anyone from trusted account

The We can assign workflow approval tasks to anyone from trusted account field is visible when the trusted account has given the account selected in the account switcher the ability to assign workflow approval tasks to any person who is registered in the trusted account or its directory account.

Trusted account can assign workflow tasks to our key contacts and specialists

The Trusted account can assign workflow tasks to our key contacts and specialists box is checked to give the trusted account the ability to assign workflow tasks to all people who have the Key Contact role or the Specialist role of the account selected in the account switcher. Checking this box also allows the trusted account to assign workflow tasks of the category ‘Risk & Impact’ or ‘Implementation’ to the teams of the account selected in the account switcher and the specialists who are a member of these teams.

When this box is checked, workflow teams can be linked to this option. Trusted accounts can assign workflow tasks to specialists from any of the teams that are linked. If no team is linked, the trusted account can assign workflow tasks to any of our teams.

The We can assign workflow tasks to the key contacts and specialists of trusted account field is visible when the trusted account has given the account selected in the account switcher the ability to assign workflow tasks to the key contacts and specialists of the trusted account.

If one or more workflow teams were selected, these are listed here. If not, we can assign workflow tasks to all their teams.

Trusted account can view our workflow notes and attachments

The Trusted account can view our workflow notes and attachments box is checked to allow the trusted account to see the ‘Notes’ and ‘Attachments’ sections of workflows that are registered in the account selected in the account switcher and which include a task that is assigned to the trusted account.

Note that people who are registered in the directory account of the support domain account in which a workflow is registered can always see the ‘Notes’ and ‘Attachments’ sections of this workflow if they have been asked to approve it, even if this box is not checked.

The Trusted account can assign project tasks to our key contacts and specialists box is checked to give the trusted account the ability to assign project tasks of the category ‘Approval’ or ‘Activity’ to all people who have the Key Contact role or the Specialist role of the account selected in the account switcher.

When this box is checked, project teams can be linked to this option. Trusted accounts can assign project tasks to specialists from any of the teams that are linked. If no team is linked, the trusted account can assign project tasks to any of our teams.

The Trusted account can assign support responsibility for CIs to us box is checked to provide the trusted account the ability to make one or more teams of the account selected in the account switcher the support team of their configuration items.

Support teams from us

The Support teams from us field is used to select the teams from the account selected in the account switcher that the trusted account can select in the Support team field of their configuration items.

We can assign support responsibility for CIs to the trusted account

The We can assign support responsibility for CIs to the trusted account field is visible when the trusted account has given the account selected in the account switcher the ability to make one or more of their teams the support team of their configuration items.

Support teams from trusted account

The Support teams from trusted account field shows the teams from the trusted account that can be selected in the Support team field of the configuration items of the account selected in the account switcher.

Trusted account can see our configuration items

The Trusted account can see our configuration items box is checked to make CIs of this account available to a trusted account. These CIs will be visible in the ‘Configuration Items’ view and available for selection in requests, request templates, tasks, task templates, and problems.

The We can see configuration items of trusted account field is visible when the trusted account has given the account selected in the account switcher the ability to see and select their CIs.

Trusted accounts can see all details of configuration items except invoices and contracts.
